Holiday Inn Express Tampa Rocky Point
The staff at the Holiday Inn Express went above and beyond to make sure all of our employees were taken care of while we had our Red Cross/30 Hour OSHA meeting there last week. Stephanie helped me set up the lunch and actually stood watch until we were able to finish our meetings and come out to eat. There was also another manager on site on Saturday (I failed to get her name) that was also very helpful. We might want to send a big thank you to Stephanie for all of the help. I would definitely recommend this hotel for future meetings.

Message: Hello, We just returned from a short (3-nite) stay at your Hampton Inn & Suites St. Petersburg, and would like you to know that we truly enjoyed our visit. Mostly, we would like you to know how much we enjoyed 2 of your employee's - firstly, your front-counter employee, 'Ivan', and secondly, one of your 'valet' employee's. Unfortunately, we did not get the valet's name, but when we checked out of our room today, 08-27-07, he was working (it appeared he may have just started his shift). He is a young, white fella, rather on the shorter side. (actually, due to this being the 2nd of 2 visits recently, this is the second time we were lucky enough to encounter this particular young man) Ivan was a joy to talk to and do business with! Extremely pleasant. He made our visit extra special. The young-valet was also extremely pleasant. I must say these 2 employee's might possibly be the best of the best at what they do. We visit many suites/hotels and never have we encountered such pleasant employees. Please let Ivan and the young valet know we appreciated their attitudes, professionalism and kindness! Thank you for your time, Sincerely, Robert & Edna Robertson Titusville, Fl 32780 (We occupied room 238 during our stay)

Holiday Inn Waterloo/Seneca Falls, Waterloo, New York.

I will not stay at this hotel again. The hotel does not have elevators and for me that was a major inconvience. I didn't think to ask when making the reservation. The hotel is dirty. Hallway rugs need to be cleaned all the way to the wall,as dirt and dust remain on each side of the hallways where the vacuum cleaner doesn't reach. My room had a previous guest's toenail clippings left in front of the nightstand.YUK! I guess the vacuum cleaner doesn't go there either. And when I looked for my dropped earing back, I found a layer of dirt and dust behind and under the bed and nightstand as well trash (wrappers, papers, coins)under the nighttable. I left a note and the area was cleaned, but it appeared the vacuum cleaner didn't pick up well, as crumbs and other matter were found pushed to a new place. Needless to say, I was stuffed up each morning. The toilet paper holders that are face level and right next to you when sitting on the toilet were disgustingly dirty. My suggestion to the hotel is vacate the site (the very very close proximity to a major landfill is disturbing as well as gross smelling), build a new hotel equipped with elevators and new vacuum cleaners that reach the corners, and hire people who know how to clean. Just wanted to drop a quick note to you. Thank you for a great weekend stay at the two hotels.

I am not sure the guests noticed (I told everyone I could when I remembered), but I did that there were two people at each hotel to check us all in. I know that usually there is only one person at most hotels and I thank you for such a smooth process.
The staff at the Holiday Inn Express where I stayed were wonderful--helping us out with potential late check-outs and suggesting alternatives if we did need to stay until a late game on Sunday evening.
Please let me know the manager names for the two hotels as I would like to send our appreciation to them--complementing you and everything that was done for us.
Until the next time !!

One call to you and your professionalism took over and our worries vanished. Each time I called with my concerns it was handled. Barb and I are happy I made the call to the Holiday Inn Waterloo.

We would just like to express how extremely pleased we were with the way the Holiday Inn (Waterloo) handled our daughter’s wedding on November 3, 2007. From the moment my daughter initially met with Jenn to the day of the wedding, the staff was nothing short of accommodating and pleasant to work with. Along with following Lisa’s written directions (complete with a diagram) for decorating the room with her personal decorations – they went above and beyond with their own decorating. If they felt that something more was needed somewhere, it was done. The room looked magical !!!

Not only did the room look beautiful – the service was outstanding!!! The servers were professional, personable and they couldn’t do enough for everyone. Our hats are off to Lu (I believe that is her name) and the rest of the staff.

We have been to several weddings at very large, fancy wedding-factory-type venues. I can honestly say that the way the Holiday Inn treated us was far above the treatment at those facilities. It was so much more personal. Not only did the room look spectacular, the service was superior and the price was so very reasonable.

We can go on and on with how pleased we were on this very special day but I won’t take too much of your time. Just please know that we will remember this day forever as a magical day for our daughter and her new husband.

Thank you!!!

Humpton Inn and Suites St Pete's

I would like to take tyhis opportunity to thank the management and staff of the Humpton Inn and Suites, for the warm and hospitable way in which they treated us FIVE African journalists who were lodging there during a two-week Poynter Institute SEMINAR FOR AFRICAN FELLOWS in October 19 to November 02, 2007. On behalf of me (Letuka Mahe from Lesotho) and my four colleagues (David Ohito from Kenya, Ackel Zwane from Swaziland, Deon Lambrecht and Clinton Nagoor both from South Africa), I would like to convey our deepest gratitude for everything you did for us.

I would also like to take this opprtunity to thank, with my heart, your Front Desk Supervisor Ms Gylian Morris - she was just awesome at everything she did. She was quick to attend to our requests, when some of the ladies at the desk seemed a little reluctant sometimes I am afraid.

I would recommend to Mr Johansson, the General Manager, to give her a big pat on the shoulder for us, if he knows what I mean. Incentive. Keep it up Gylian.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn, Oneonta, NY. I actually live in town, and needed to spend the night elsewhere while my home was being renovated. I went, without prior reservation, and the front desk manager was able to accommodate for my situation and went above and beyond what I expected! I am very pleased with the services and the atmosphere provided by the hotel and the employees.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Coquina On The Beach in Sarasota. Super comfortable, perfect location.

If I may make a suggestion: The only downside to staying at the Coquina was the lack of wi-fi high speed internet access. I couldn't get a dial-up connection, and even if I could, charging a fee per connection and limiting time for a slow dial-up line is impractical and frankly a tad absurd in this day and age.

Otherwise, it was a great stay and I hope to be back!

I enjoyed my stay at your hotel. The Priority Club gift was very nice and the only hotel I’ve stayed at that offered anything like that.

The restaurant in the hotel was also very nice with great food.

Holiday Inn & Suites Brevard, NC
I\'m writing a letter directly to the hotel management today to thank them. We called ahead for reservations for Thanksgiving night and the two or three days afterwards, and found the Holiday Inn Express in Brevard was full through the entire holiday weekend. We were very disappointed, since we\'ve stayed there so often we consider the Express in Brevard our home away from home. So although we knew nothing about the brand, we had to book a room at the only other hotel in town that had vacancies; the Rodeway Inn. When we opened the door to our room we took two steps in, didn\'t even put the suitcases down, went back to the front desk and cancelled our reservation. Without attempting to describe it, we decided we\'d literally rather sleep in the car than in that room. In a last ditch effort to save our Thanksgiving trip , I called the Holiday Inn Express from the parking lot at the Rodeway Inn and explained our situation, asked if they had any cancellations, told them we\'d sleep on anything that would hold two people, and that we wanted to come home ! The desk clerk said she thought they had had a cancellation, couldn\'t locate it while she was on the phone and said to just come on over, and they\'d find us something. They did, and we ended up staying in a clean, comfortable room where we felt at home and welcome. If you\'ve ever come home after a long day, walked in the door and smiled to be there, that\'s pretty much how we felt. So thanks to the great staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Brevard we had a wonderful Thanksgiving trip , were treated like family and felt like it, too. I can\'t say enough good things about both the quality of this hotel or the people who work there. Absolutely the best .

Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown St. Petersburg

Karl, I want to thank you and your team for an UNFORGETABLE weekend.

With your help allowing me to use my points to accommodate not only my family but also some Great friends, your team just made a huge impact on a FANTASTIC weekend.

It was noted from the point of check in to the check out service the way your team accommodated all of us.

Tiffany, Nykisha, along with your overnight desk and the valet personnel could not have been any more pleasant to make our stay a time to remember. They all really stood out with smiles and kindness.

Rib Fest of course was our reason for our stay, but the overall talk among my friends have been the hotel accommodations and your staff. What I continually hear everyday since the stay is “Jim, for next year do you already have rooms for the Rib Fest weekend at the Hampton Inn and Suites downtown St. Pete “we can’t wait” and I’m sure the news is going to spread fast among other friends the time we all had.

I personally can not THANK YOU AND YOUR TEAM enough.

In today’s time, I think that being able to share fun times with friends are VERY IMPORTANT and without question your team helped me accomplish my objective.

I hope to see you along with your team next year for this event.

As soon as I hear on the dates set for next years Rib Fest 2009, my first call will be to reserve 3 rooms for the weekend at your facility.

Thanks again.

My family visited Sarasota, Florida in February, and had the most awesome experience kayaking with Almost Heaven Kayak Adventures on the South Lido Mangroves Tunnel tour. Even though we are all beginners, our tour guide gave us great paddling instructions and was very helpful in calming our nerves. He was also very knowledgeable about the local habitat and Florida eco system. So much so that my two teenagers and five year old are still talking about the experience. We highly recommend Almost Heaven Kayak Adventures (www.kayakfl.com). It was a must for anyone staying in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Rocky Point for my surgery at Laser Spine and it was wonderful. From the Front Desk Staff to the Housekeepers to the Manager. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and nice clean , comfortable rooms. I would especially like to thank Marilyn,(I think that is her name), she was there from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. She checked us in, drove us to Walgreens and checked us out. It seemed like she was everywhere and that made us feel good knowing there was a Manager around. Ron and Kyle were great at directions and resturant suggestions. They let us check out late because of flight changes. Marilyn has a great team! Once again thank you all at the Holdiay Inn Express Rocky Point for making us feel at home. Keep up the good job! We will be back!
